- How current is the business information?
- Industry and staff numbers were reported by each business in 2020 to 2021 and may have changed since then.
- How are the sale ranges worked out?
- From the loans used to buy similar businesses from 2023 to 2026. The records show the loan, not the price, and buyers usually borrow about 85% of the price, so the loan is divided by 0.85. The range shows the middle half of purchases of similar businesses.
- Is the sale range a valuation of the business?
- No. It shows what similar businesses sold for. A valuation of a specific business needs its own revenue, profit and owner pay, which you add on Value Alpha.
- My business is not listed. Can I add it?
- Yes. Its owner can add it on Value Alpha with one document that shows its name. Its page goes up once we have checked the document.
- How do I remove a business page?
- Every page has a link to request removal. No account is needed, and a confirmed request is honored.
