Cookie Policy
Effective as of August 5, 2026
This page explains what we store on your device, what we load from other companies, and how you change your mind. It covers valuealpha.ai and the application at app.valuealpha.ai. For everything else we do with personal data, see the Privacy Policy.
1. Nothing optional loads before you choose
If you are in the EEA or the UK, we ask before loading anything that is not strictly necessary. Until you answer, no analytics or advertising script is loaded and no request is made to Google, LinkedIn or our analytics provider. This matters more than it sounds: a script request reveals your IP address even when the script sets no cookies, so we hold the request itself rather than only the cookie.
If you decline, we do not load those tools at all. We do not fall back to a “cookieless” version that still records your visit.
2. What we use
2.1 Strictly necessary
These are always active. They carry no advertising value and cannot be switched off without breaking the product.
- Authentication and session (Supabase): keeps you signed in and keeps your data separated from other customers.
- Payment and fraud prevention (Stripe): set during checkout.
- Security and delivery (Cloudflare): bot and abuse mitigation, and the country lookup we use to decide whether to show you the consent banner at all.
- Your consent choice (
va_consent): remembers your answer for 180 days so we do not ask on every page. Stored on.valuealpha.aiso one answer covers both the website and the app.
2.2 Analytics and advertising, only with consent
- PostHog : product analytics, and session replay on the marketing site only. Replay is switched off entirely inside the application, because those pages show your financial statements. On the marketing site, replay masks all text.
- Google Analytics and Google Ads : measures which campaigns lead to sign-ups.
- LinkedIn Insight Tag : the same, for LinkedIn campaigns.
3. Changing or withdrawing your choice
You can change your answer at any time, as easily as you gave it, and as often as you like. Withdrawing stops future collection; it does not undo what was already collected before you withdrew.
, or if you are signed in to the application, open Settings → Your data → Cookie settings.
4. Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a standing objection: analytics and advertising stay off, we do not show you the banner, and the signal overrides any earlier acceptance stored on this device. You do not need to do anything else.
5. Fonts and other assets
We host our own fonts. Loading them from a font provider would send your IP address to that provider before you had any say, and there is no way to ask permission for a stylesheet the page needs in order to render at all.
6. Browser controls
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will sign you out and may prevent checkout from completing.
